Romeo Records : ウィキペディア英語版
Romeo Records

Romeo Records was a record label based in the United States of America in the 1920s and 1930s. It started as a subsidiary of Cameo Records, manufactured to be sold exclusively at the S. H. Kress & Co. department store chain. The disc records retailed for 25 cents each.
In 1931 the label was acquired by the American Record Corporation and continued by them through 1938, when all of the ARC dime store labels (Perfect, Melotone, Banner, and Oriole) were discontinued.
From the beginning, Romeo records had a maroon label. It was changed to a black label in 1931 and then became blue in 1935. While the maroon Romeo records apparently sold well enough to be fairly easy to find, the black label and blue label Romeo's are rather harder to find, apparently indicating Kress' lower record sales during the height of the depression.
